Potential Faculty Mentors

UVA Faculty Interested in Global Health

The Center for Global Health works with an exceptional community of UVa educators from all disciplines who see the value in teaching and advising the next generation of leaders in global health. Some serve as mentors to CGH student scholars as they design global health projects abroad. Others have developed courses relating to global health or conduct global health-related research themselves.

These faculty and lecturers come from nearly every school at UVa, including Arts and Sciences, Engineering, Architecture, Education, Nursing, and Medicine. This wide-ranging collection of accomplished educators help to set the Center apart in this growing field. For a list of educators interested in global health organized by school, please click below. Please check back periodically for new additions. You may also learn more about many of these educators by searching the Community of Science website. If you are an educator and would like to be added to this group, please email ctrglobalhealth@virginia.edu
